True Survival Horror In Second Trailer For The Forest

The development team Endnight Games have released a second trailer containing more alpha footage from it’s PC plane crash survivor game The Forest. The footage shows you not only having to contend with finding/building shelter, keeping warm and scavenging for food, the titular named forest also appears to have a number of “genetic mutant” inhabitants …not to mention something else living in the vast network of caves and underground lakes. The game is also being built to fully support the Oculus Rift 3D headset, so I’ll be sure to feedback what the games like when available …if I survive my first night!

For more information on The Forest, visit the official website, or for more footage you can watch the first trailer here. The games been Greenlit on Steam, so we’ll hope to see an Alpha version soon!

  1. Alex Norris says:

The chance to build stuff and explore an island whilst also attempting to survive mutants (maybe not that last one so much), can not wait to delve into this 😀

  2. I’m excited for this game, but the developers are certainly not very active in the marketing and promotion department lol. The game looks awesome though, I want to try it on the rift eventually. If you like Survival type games have you checked out Project Zomboid yet? I’m enjoying that while I wait patiently for Survive The Forest and DayZ Standalone Alpha.
