Rockstar Advises Xbox Gamers Not To Install GTA V ‘Play’ Disc

Rockstar’s Support Twitter account has advised gamers with the Xbox 360 version of the game against installing the ‘play’ disc for Grand Theft Auto V. In response to gamers queries about installing both discs, the Twitter account said that “we recommend not installing” the play disc in order to achieve “optimal performance”.

The 360 version of the game comes on 2 discs, an install disc and a play disc. The first, the install disc, contains a mandatory 8GB install for the 360 version of the game, while the second is used to actually play the game. It would appear that installing both will have a negative impact on the game’s performance. Hopefully Rockstar will have more information on this soon but until then, 360 users should only install the mandatory disc.

I hope everyone out there is enjoying their copy of GTA V and that this has not been a problem for any Xbox 360 users out there! Enjoying GTA V? Have you tried installing both discs? Let us know in the comments!
