Fable Anniversary Delayed Until Early 2014

The remake of the beloved Fable, which was due out this year, has been delayed. Lionhead have made the choice to delay the title until February of 2014 in order to provide the best experience possible for fans of the series. Lionhead made the announcement today via their blog.

“We’ve been working hard for the past year to bring you the very best Fable Anniversary experience on Xbox 360. We feel though, that we need a little more time in order to meet our ambitions and give you, the fans, the best game possible.”

It’s not all doom and gloom though as Lionhead have decided that they will release more content for fans to see. “…over the next few weeks we’re going to be sharing with you more screenshots, more game footage and perhaps even some… top secret announcements!”

With the game pushed back to February 2014, will this affect your decision to buy the game? Still excited for Fable Anniversary? Let us know in the comments!
