Rumours On The Next Games With Gold Titles
Microsoft’s Games with Gold offer is set to continue on Thursday with a new free game for Xbox Live’s Gold members. Microsoft originally announced that Halo 3 and Assassin’s Creed 2 were to be the first two games that would be available in the offer. Following this, Defence Grid was the first game to be made free followed by Assassin’s Creed 2, which is still available to Gold members until Thursday.
A post on the polish gaming site Xbox Online Center claims that they have found out the next two free games in the promotion. They claim to have a reliable source and that the next free games will be Crackdown and Dead Rising 2. With the relatively lacklustre start from Defence Grid, following Assassin’s Creed 2 with these games seems like a much desired improvement.
Crackdown is an Xbox 360 exclusive which was released back in 2007. Players take the role of an agent with augmented abilities and have to rid the sandbox world from the criminal gangs that control it. Crackdown is a classic 360 game and only gets better during online co-op.
Dead Rising 2, as you can guess, is a zombie game. Players take control of Chuck Green who is trapped in Las Vegas during a zombie outbreak. Players explore a shopping mall and casinos as they search for weapons and survivors while the timed campaign pushes the player forward. This is another game that is great for co-op.
Of course these are just rumours and should be taken as such, but if true, these are two excellent titles that any gamer should pick up especially as they both feature online co-op!
