RUGBY 18 : Developer Diary

Bigben and Eko Software have released a Developers’ Diary to show how the RUGBY 18 team has translated all the details and specific aspects of ‘real’ rugby into a video game.

To stay true to the sport and its characteristics, the developers had to overcome many challenges to ensure the game phases linked seamlessly and to provide a realistic experience. Player movements were recreated using motion capture technology on real rugby players. Each player’s statistics are also individually represented using real match data.
RUGBY 18 will be available October 27th on PlayStation®4, Xbox One and PC.

You can see the Developers’ Diary called “Recreating the depth of rugby” here.
