Sony Reveal PS Vita TV
Sony have revealed a new piece of Playstation hardware. The new PS Vita TV is designed to allow Vita games to be played on the big screen via HDMI. The device will have slots for both Vita games and memory cards and will incorporate the use of the Dualshock 3 controller for games.
The new system has not been designed for just Vita games though. The device will also allow users to access video streaming services such as Hulu and, at a later date via system updates, will allow for remote play with the Playstation 4 and the Dualshock 4 controller. Playstation One and PSP games will also be playable through the system.
The new PS Vita TV launches in Japan on 14th November at approximately £60 with a bundle containing a Vita memory card and Dualshock 3 controller also being made available. There is no news on whether a European or North American release will happen but it seems likely.
The Vita is one of the few systems that I never picked up but this seems to be quite an awesome device. What do you guys think? Is this something you will use or would you prefer handheld games to stay in your hands? Let us know in the comments!
