Possible Keyart For New Alien Game, Alien: Isolation, Gets Leaked …Mostly

A couple of images for, what is suspected, a new Alien game have been spotted by a NeoGAF member today. The artwork carries the title Alien: Isolation and suggests to be published by SEGA and developed by Total War makers The Creative Assembly. Both previous rumour and the new images appear to support that a new Alien universe game is in production and which, rumoured again, is to focus on Ripley’s daughter Amanda (I can see the resemblance).

Previously we’d heard comments made by the The Creative Assembly dev’s that they were working on a new “triple-A project” and something that will be “a peer to the likes of Dead Space 2”. This also fits nicely like a face hugger with a trademark of the same name filed by Alien(s) franchise owners Twentieth Century Fox.

Take the boxart/artwork with a pinch of Queen Royal Jelly but I’m optimistic.  What do you think? Can the Alien franchise be redeemed after the critically mauled and acid spat on Colonial Marines?

I actually didn’t mind Colonial Marines. It wasn’t necessarily a good Aliens game but it was still fun! 😛 Hopefully this will be less of a shooter and more of a survival game 🙂

Glad I’m not the only one who thinks Colonial Marines is fun xD A survival horror Alien game would be great, I thought the moments of Colonial Marines that worked best were where you felt defenseless and like hiding rather than being in a shooting gallery
