Peter Capaldi & Others To Voice Their Own Characters In The Doctor Who Portion of Lego Dimensions
Throwing Doctor Who into a half decent game, let alone a game with LEGO involved, will of course make many a man, woman, and child throw money at the screen before a game has even been released. This will be the case with the upcoming Lego Dimensions it seems, as it has just been announced that it’s to include all 12 Doctors, but only Peter Capaldi, who plays the 12th Doctor, Jenna Coleman, who plays Clara Oswald, and Michelle Gomez, who plays Missy, will voice their respective characters from the series in LEGO Dimensions.
The way you get to play as all 12 Doctors is when the 12th Doctor dies in a level he will then regenerate into the first doctor and work his way through them all on each death until once again reaching the most present. Doctor Who, which has never before been in a LEGO videogame, will be playable in the LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack with a complete Doctor Who level where the game’s heroes continue their quest while encountering Daleks, Cybermen and others.
Fans of the series can also purchase the Doctor Who Level Pack which includes an additional mission-based Doctor Who level, along with a LEGO minifigure of the 12th Doctor and LEGO models of the Tardis and K-9, all playable in the game.
The interior of the TARDIS will also reflect the Doctor you are at that time, along with a jukebox where players can choose among different versions of the Doctor Who theme music. On top of that the Tardis and K-9 models can each be physically built and then rebuilt twice to do entirely different things in the Game.
There will also be a Doctor Who Fun Pack, which includes a playable Cyberman minifigure and Dalek model which can be physically built and then rebuilt twice for a total of three different objects.
Lego Dimensions is set for release on September 29th for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and Wii U.
