Hyrule Warriors Limited Edition & New Playable Character

Nintendo have announced the Hyrule Warriors Limited Edition, which comes with a replica of Link’s blue scarf, which looks pretty awesome and a Nintendo first, pre-order DLC which has never been done before by Nintendo.

From what I can make out from the newest Nintendo Direct, is that the Limited Edition will be a Nintendo store exclusive for UK and Europe but what about the US? Well at this moment no scarf but will have DLC. Retailers will have their own alternate costumes for certain characters and the costumes will tie in with other Zelda games.

Though I do love the Japanese pre-order item which is a Triforce clock, I would love to see one up close.

Club Nintendo members also have a chance to download alternate Ganondorf costumes from Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess for free if they buy the game within four weeks of the games release date.

While saying that, Nintendo Direct also mentions that Link’s nemesis Ganondorf will be playable in Hyrule warriors. Ganondorf joins an already impressive playable cast in the Dynasty Warrior, Zelda mash up.

While not the biggest Dynasty Warrior fan, I do enjoy a good Zelda game and even more a sucker for Limited Editions which come with good physical gear so is this edition worth the £50?

Hyrule Warriors is out on Wii U this September on the 19th and if you fancy the Limited Edition, click here which will take you to Nintendo Store.
