Assassin’s Creed Pirates Now Available For Smartphones And Tablets
Not had enough pirate action thrown at you by Ubisoft of late, and you are begging for more? then the news below shall warm the cockles of your heart sea lovers.
Assassin’s Creed Pirates is now available for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and select high end smartphones and tablets on the App Store, on Google Play and on the Amazon Appstore for £2.99.
Not owning any of these puts me out of the game right away, but for the folk living the high life let me give you some game information.
“The year is 1716, the dawn of the Golden Age of piracy in the Caribbean. Players take on the role of Alonzo Batilla, a young and ambitious Captain who is embarking on an epic quest to find La Buse’s legendary treasure. Along his way Alonzo will cross paths with famous buccaneers including Blackbeard, Bellamy and Hornigold and find himself caught in the middle of the ancestral fight between Assassins and Templars.”
“In Assassin’s Creed Pirates, players will be tasked to manage their crew, upgrade their ship, recruit new crew members and engage in massive and brutal real-time naval battles to become the most feared pirate in the Caribbean.”
By the looks of the trailer it looks a to take what was no doubt one of the best things of Black Flag, being the sea battles, and putting them in your hand when taking trips to the loo or long bus rides home.
Manage your crew, upgrade your ship and engage in huge naval battles are all things possible in the game, so sounds like tons of fun that will fit in your pocket at a cheap price.
If you’ve bought it and gave it a try let us know what you thought in the comments below.
