Final Fantasy X and X-2 Release Date Announced
Square Enix have announced the release date for the remastered Final Fantasy X and X-2 as March 18 2014 in America, no official confirmation of the UK date.
We normally follow the same week or the week after America on the Final Fantasy series, so hopefully we will see it later that week (I have reached out to Square Enix for confirmation of the date).
As a large fan of the whole Final Fantasy series this game is almost enough of a reason for myself to buy a PS3. Yes many fans will argue this is not the one that needs remastered, but it still a very enjoyable game and packs hours of fun, it is just a shame it wont be ported to the Ps4 which launches later this month in the UK.
Full details below are taken from the press release.
“The newly remastered titles will include FINAL FANTASY X: Eternal Calm and FINAL FANTASY X-2: LAST MISSION that were available only in the International versions. The package art for the limited edition has been redesigned with the gorgeous new artwork featuring the main protagonists, Tidus and Yuna. The Concept Artbook package will be exclusive for those who pre-order and receive the free upgrade to the limited edition”
