Dark Souls 2 Collector’s Edition And Release Date Announced!
During Namco Bandai’s pre-Tokyo Game Show, they finally announced the release dates for Dark Souls 2! We already knew that it would be in March of 2014 from past information, but now the specific dates have been announced. North America will see the game on 11th March, Europe on 14th March, and Japan on 13th March. There has been no confirmation of the PC release date as it is stills in the works.
Alongside the release dates, Namco Bandai also announced two special editions of the game. The Black Armour Edition will be an automatic pre-order upgrade meaning that all standard pre-orders will be this edition of the game. This edition comes with a Steelbook game case and CD soundtrack.
The other edition announced is the Dark Souls 2 Collector’s Edition. This version comes with the Steelbook case and CD soundtrack like the other edition, but it also has an Authentic Cloth Map, Art Book, and a 30cm Warrior Knight Figurine.
Dark Souls 2 is shaping up to be a great looking game and hopefully will be when it launches in March of next year. Until then, Playstation 3 users can apply for the beta which starts on October 12th! Anyone else getting this game? I know I certainly am! Let us know in the comments!
