Batman: Arkham Origins Season Pass Detailed

The upcoming third game in the Batman Arkham series is set to get a season pass. Arkham Origins’ season pass has been announced and with it comes a bunch of in-game DLC. The pass will give players access to 5 DLC packs for the price of £15.99/$19.99.

The DLC includes the Gotham By Gaslight Skin, Brightest Day Skin, Infinite Earths Skin Pack, New Millennium Skin Pack, Bruce Wayne Challenge Maps, and a new story campaign which has not been revealed yet.

Batman: Arkham Origins is set for release on current gen systems and PC on October 20th.

I am personally looking forward for this game but I’m not sure if the price is justified considering most of the season pass content is character skins. What about you guys? Getting the game? Think the season pass is a little lacklustre? Let us know!

bit steep for just a new bit of story that may not be any good, saying this Harley’s Revenge was good. but the skins are never a thing for me.

This brings up the old problem of “is DLC worth it?”.

Harley’s Revenge was a good add on but was it worth the money for the length of gameplay it offered?

Are people willing to pay for things which are purely cosmetic and wont be seen by anyone else?

The extra campaign story does peak my interest but is it going to be a substantial length of gameplay added on or will I be able to complete it in 20 minutes?

Im hoping that the game itself will be enough for me as I absolutely loved Asylum and A-city. They were done really well with a different degree of realism than an angry Christian Bale could provide.

I rarely ever buy cosmetic DLC, it’s just not worth the money. I think it’s kind of silly that they call this a season pass yet there are only 2 pieces of ‘proper’ (and I use that term loosly) DLC with the rest being skins that, in my case, will never get used.

Still need to finish Arkham City but fully intend to get the game. I won’t be touching the season pass though, definitely not worth it from what they’ve revealed. 🙁
