Assassin’s Creed Takes A Year Off

Ubisoft has been busy today, one of their announcements was that Assassin Creed will take a year off so they can “evolve the game mechanics”.

Bravo to them I say, while not the biggest fan of the series I do agree that most of the Assassin’s Creed games are good but that’s the problem, its good. There isn’t anything that jumps out any more and makes you surprised or hungry for more. Each Assassin’s Creed game has been near enough the same for quite some time and I’ve felt for a while that it needs to slow down and redevelop the idea and seemingly I’m not the only one as Ubisoft has said since the feedback from Unity they’ve learnt a lot.

So here’s hoping we see an epic Assassin’s Creed game that the fans deserve! Also it’s not like you won’t get your Assassin’s Creed fix this year anyways because the movie comes out at the end of year, fingers crossed its good.
